Resin increases
The rise of resin in the wood can occur after drying or hot periods. They can be removed with a spatula and washed with turpentine/water raz.
Mold stains
Mold spots on wood can appear on products stored in humid environments. In addition to not compromising the durability of the wood, they are easily brushed off when dry.
Various shades
The various shades of wood are a natural characteristic, especially in the case of pine. They occur between the heartwood and the sapwood and also between different pieces. They tend to harmonize over time.
Greyish heart
The appearance of a grayish color is a natural phenomenon when the wood is exposed to light and sun. It does not compromise its durability and can be resolved with a dye or saturator.
Green or blue crystallization
Green or blue crystallization can occur in autoclave-treated wood and is caused by small drops of resin. It does not compromise durability and, if it does not resolve spontaneously, it can be brushed off.
Streaks
The streaks in the wood can appear in outdoor products, after variations in humidity or temperature. Their presence does not compromise durability or resistance.

Simply specify the desired dimensions when placing your order. For dimensions between 50 cm (minimum) and a maximum of 3.5 m, we can deliver the wooden pieces for construction already cut and ready to install.

Yes, most of the sawn timber sold by CarmoForm undergoes autoclave treatment. This treatment involves different vacuum and pressure processes, which cause a chemical with biocidal action to penetrate the wood.
Thanks to this pre-treatment, CarmoForm’s timber for civil construction has a risk class of IV.
